FND Hope UK have launched a petition to call on the government to increase funding for multi-disciplinary treatment centres.
With only a handful of treatment centres within the UK offering this kind of service for our FND Community, our FND community are often left to fend for themselves with symptoms getting worse. The treatment centres we do have, are becoming overwhelmed and waiting times are increasing.
We know through research, the quicker the diagnosis, and the quicker someone receives treatment, the better the outcome, but this is not the reality.
