CONFERENCE GUIDE FOR SPEAKERS
IF you are scheduled to speak during the General Conference (Between October 9th 9AM – October 10th 12PM):
This portion will be run as a Zoom Webinar.
As a speaker, you will be provided a Zoom link as a PANELIST. Panelists have the ability to turn on their cameras and microphones, and can share their screens. (Audience members will not have use of their cameras and will engage via the Q&A option.)
Please use the PANELIST link to join the conference when it is your time to speak so that you will have these capabilities. This link does not automatically register you for the event.
The Webinar will be converted to a Zoom Meeting during the lunch break to host presentations in Breakout Rooms. All participants will need to re-join the conference at this time. You can use your Panelist Zoom link to re-enter the event, but all participants must be registered to access this portion of the conference.
You may register beforehand or when re-joining the conference to access the Breakout Rooms.
IF you have been scheduled to speak in a Breakout Room (October 10th, between 1PM – 4PM):
You will only need to register once to access the conference on both days.
The Webinar will be converted to a Zoom Meeting during the lunch break to host presentations in Breakout Rooms. All participants will need to re-join the conference at this time.
You will not require a Panelist link for Breakout Rooms. You will join the conference as a Meeting Attendee with the Zoom link in your registration confirmation email. You will be able to share your screen, and turn on your microphone and camera.
