On April 13, 2012, the website fndhope.org was created to unite people with Functional Neurological Disorder. FND Hope was then registered, in the state of Idaho, as a non-profit on April 30, 2012. Our website was just the beginning of what eventually became the first patient advocacy organization in history specifically for those diagnosed with functional symptoms. Later, June 23, 2014, FND Hope became a 501c3 registered charity.
FND Hope advocates for the men, women, and children who have had their lives turned upside down with physical and often debilitating symptoms. Many of which, were sent home with little information and the reassurance that symptoms will go away on its own.
Since April 2012, we have created many support Facebook pages, a Health Unlocked forum and have become a fast growing community. Through our Facebook pages, our organization takes one person at a time and gives them a welcome that says you belong. We give them a voice, we lend them our ear. We give everyone a place to call their own and a place to feel secure. We give people the courage to keep going and the strength they need to endure each day. Most of all…
