Choosing and Submitting an Idea

Get inspired today and check out our fundraising ideas. It does not matter whether you are new to fundraising or a novice, there are lots of ways you can get involved and make a difference. When coming up with an idea you should ask yourself a few questions to be sure you choose an idea that is right for you. What can I manage? Will I have help? Will I need to come up with money to make money? Can I follow through?

Once you have chosen an idea that fits you, then sort out the dates and details, complete the Events Form and submit your idea. Once we receive your paperwork we will see how we can best support your event and we will issue a fundraising number. This number will allow others to know your event is affiliated with and endorsed by FND Hope. (This is for those outside of the United Kingdom)

Making a Plan

A successful event requires successful planning. It is always good to have a plan … and always good to have a back-up plan too, especially if you are planning an outdoor event. Consider safety and legalities if your event involves other participants. Check with your local authority to see if you need any licenses if your event is being held in a public place. Don’t forget to promote your fundraising event, especially on our facebook pages. Check out our fundraising materials available for use with any FND Hope sponsored event.

Make sure you manage your health as well as your event, so you can enjoy it. So you can sit back and enjoy the event. Don’t forget to arrange for a clean-up crew. The event is not over until everything is cleaned up, Thank you’s delivered, and money donated from the event.
