Paige says “I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who came to my charity auction evening last night and thank you for all of those who donated items and their time to help the event run as well as it did.
I can very very proudly say we managed to raise a whopping £1504.00!! This is super amazing and I really am just chuffed to pieces it was hard work getting it all together and I am exhausted today but it was totally worth it to raise awareness and money for the charity and the disorder.

STEPS Rehabilitation raises £211 for FND Hope UK

Steps Rehabilitation based in Sheffield, help treat patient diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder through a multi-disiplinary inpatient setting helped to raise an amazing amount of £211.00 for FND Hope UK. The money was raised by two brave physiotherapists John and Jamie by having their legs waxed and Chloe for organising a quiz.

Thank you to all the staff for helping to raise awareness of Functional Neurological Disorder and raising £211.00.

FND Hope UK attends Volunteer Fair in Banbury to raise awareness and Network

Dawn Golder (Executive Director) attended the Banbury Volunteer Fair on Wednesday 14th March with Oxfordshire Volunteers and Volunteer Connect, supported by Cherwell District Council. Over 25 organisations were there providing information about their work and what volunteering opportunities they had.

“We are definitely raising awareness of our organisation, people were glad to finally put a face to a name and I was able to have some great conversations with other organisations within the Banbury area. We even had some people take away our flyers to read up about FND, and they were shocked to discover how debilitating our symptoms can be” says Dawn.
